Duties
Become familiar with the company’s customer base. To accomplish this objective, the intern will input information from comments cards into a database. They will then be able to analyze different trends and see the likes and dislikes of our customer base. This will help to recognize the areas for improvement within the company, which will in turn, better serve our customers. The intern will also be encouraged to improve the look and feel of the comments cards to more efficiently collect data from the customer.
Build business for brunch, lunch or dinner at one restaurant. The intern will be required to create a marketing campaign to build a specific aspect of the restaurant business. For example, past interns have worked on building brunch business at The Oxford or lunch business at Mura.
Assist in event coordination. Eschelon hosts several events throughout the year. We also attend large charity events to showcase the restaurant’s cuisine. Interns have the opportunity to assist in many parts of the event coordination process: concept development, staffing, marketing (press releases, social media, email blasts, flyers, advertising buying, etc) and more.
